Brookes transitioned from the Education sector to the field of Electrolysis in 2016. A determined, bright woman who excelled in all aspects of the field, became a small business owner in her hometown of Cobourg, Ontario located in Northumberland County.

Always a believer in education and self-improvement, Brookes is often found in a classroom taking courses, seminars and workshops to keep her skill set growing.

Brookes has worked to obtain a certificates & diploma's in:

  • Electrolysis 2016 - She became a C.P.E. Electrologist in 2019
  • Sugarist with Alexandria Body Sugaring
  • Thermocoagulation (Skin irregularities removal)
  • Laser Technician
  • Skin Therapist
  • Eye Brow shaping
  • Microblading (although never added this service to Hilltop)

Hilltop Electrolysis is an established (2016), and respected award winning clinic in the community, bringing clients from all over Ontario for specialized service plans. The clinic proudly offers all clients a safe, inclusive, and respectful space. Following ALL public health guidelines and sterile techniques. Updated Green Pass Certified signage is displayed. BBB.org accredited electrolysis business.

Hilltop services now include Specialized facials using high frequency technology, Micro-Needling, and most recently Chemical Peels. Each service is customized to meet the needs and goals of the clients skin.

In the year 2019, Brookes took on the role of the Vice Chairperson and in 2022 she became the Chairperson of the Federation of Electrolysis Association (F.C.E.A) Ontario Chapter. Embracing this role, at times connects back to the education field as she often visits Electrolysis schools across Ontario. Speaking and engaging with graduating students, encouraging them to pursue their dreams. Representing the F.C.E.A at Esthetic Spa Shows, and engaging with peers at conferences has allowed Brookes to continue to learn and help educate others. Brookes enjoys spending some of her free time mentoring new electrologist and is currently working on a mentoring program to aid new electrologist in the beginning phase of their careers.

Hello, I'm Kaylene, certified Esthetician and hair removal fanatic!

It's an absolute pleasure to share my journey and my passion for esthetics, particularly in the realm of hair removal. I'm deeply committed to helping individuals achieve smooth, hair-free skin with a boost in confidence. Having struggled with my own hair for years, I love that I now get to help others achieve their hair free goals. 

My dedication extends to creating a safe and hygienic environment for my clients, which is of utmost importance to me.

My experience spans various hair removal methods, including waxing and sugaring, and I'm excited about my plans to expand into laser hair reduction and electrolysis. This commitment to offering a range of hair removal options allows my clients to choose the method that best suits their unique needs and preferences.

I previously operated a mobile spa and have now joined the Hilltop family, which presents an extraordinary opportunity to train under a permanent hair removal specialist: Brookes Brown CPE.

I take pride in tailoring my approach to each individual's hair removal needs and skin type. Ensuring that my clients feel comfortable and confident in my care is at the core of what I do everyday.

With experience in developing programs in Hospitality and Culinary education, I hold certifications in Service Excellence, Food Handler Certification, as well as First Aid and CPR training. Throughout my career, I've prioritized adherence to regulatory compliance and stringent sanitation guidelines, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for all.

Under the mentorship of Brookes Brown, CPE, I've cultivated my skills as an electrologist, blending my educational expertise with a passion for helping others look and feel their best. I strive to create a welcoming space for myself and my clients, emphasizing clear communication and client education throughout the electrolysis process.
